Home/Speed-to-Lead for Solar
Speed-to-lead · Solar

Reach the homeowner while they're still on the page.

Built for solar companies. A quote request gets an automatic text back, the assigned rep gets pinged at the same time, and the conversation starts while the homeowner is still thinking about it.

Still being built

I'm still building this. There is nothing to buy on this page and I'm not taking deposits. If it sounds useful, put your name down and I'll come to you when it's good enough to run on real leads. Not before that.

The problem

A solar lead has a shelf life.

Nobody requests one quote. They fill in three or four forms in the same sitting, and the job tends to go to whoever actually gets them talking first. That window closes in minutes.

What goes wrong

The lead cools before anyone calls

A form comes in at 7pm. Somebody calls back at 9 the next morning. By then they've spoken to two of your competitors and they've stopped picking up unknown numbers.

What this does

Texts them straight back, at 7pm or 2am, so your name is the first one in their phone.

What goes wrong

Your reps are on roofs, not inboxes

The people best placed to answer a new lead are on a roof, in a truck, or sat with a customer. Leads go cold because nobody was at a screen, not because nobody cared.

What this does

Pushes the lead to the rep's phone with the details already attached. Answering it takes one tap.

What goes wrong

Follow-up depends on who's working

Some leads get called twice, some never get called at all, and it usually comes down to who was on shift. You don't find out until you go looking.

What this does

Every lead gets the same first response, and you can go back and see exactly what was sent and when.

How it works

Four steps. Three happen without you.

It sits behind the lead form you already use. Nothing changes for the homeowner except how quickly they hear back.

01

The homeowner submits your form

Whatever form you already run. You don't have to rebuild it or move it.

02

They get a text straight back

In your company's name, in wording you set. Enough to start a conversation while solar is still on their mind.

03

Your rep is notified at the same moment

Straight to their phone with the lead's details attached. No dashboard to check, no inbox to refresh.

04

Your rep takes the conversation

The automation stops there. People close solar deals, not software. This just makes sure your person turns up early enough to have a shot.

What we're building

The boring parts that decide if you'd trust it.

Sending a fast text is the easy half. This is the half that decides whether you'd leave it running unattended on real leads.

Delivery you can rely on

Messages get queued and retried instead of fired once and forgotten. A blip at the carrier shouldn't cost you a lead.

A record of what was sent

Every message is logged with a timestamp, so "did anyone actually contact this one?" has an answer you can look up.

Opt-out handled properly

STOP and HELP are handled for you, and a number that opts out stays opted out.

Works with your existing form

It sits behind the lead capture you already have. I'm not asking you to rip anything out.

Your branding, your voice

The first message reads like your company sent it, because you wrote it.

Licensed per company

Set up for your company on your own number. Your leads don't sit in a pool with anyone else's.

Straight answers

Before you ask.

Can I buy this today?

No. It isn't finished and I'm not taking payment for it. The early-access list is exactly that, a list. I'll get in touch when it's good enough to put on live leads and you can decide then.

Is the texting compliant?

Consent is captured on your lead form, where the homeowner is already asking you to get in touch. That's the basis for the first text, and the disclosure wording is part of what we set up together. STOP and HELP are handled for you.

How I handle mobile data is in the Privacy Policy and Terms. Compliance for your own campaigns stays your responsibility as the sender, and I'd rather walk you through what that involves than pretend it's nothing.

Does it replace my CRM or my lead form?

No. It sits behind the form you already use and hands off to your reps. It answers leads; it doesn't try to be your CRM.

How will it be priced?

Licensed per company. I'm not quoting numbers while it's half-built, because anything I said today would be a guess and you'd quite reasonably hold me to it.

Why solar specifically?

Because the problem is the same shape at every solar company I've looked at: expensive leads, three or four firms quoting the same roof, and a sales team that's away from a screen most of the day. I'd rather build one industry properly than build something vague for everyone.

Early access

Want it when it's ready?

Tell me roughly how many leads you get a month and how your team picks them up today. That's genuinely what decides what I build next, and who I test it with first.

No payment, no commitment, and I won't add you to anything else.
